Volker Dick , President TUEM, was elected as the new president during the autumn meeting of the ATCEUC.
ATCEUC (Air Traffic Controllers European Unions Coordination) was created in 1991. It is composed of 19 professional and autonomous trade unions representing more than 11500 air traffic controllers throughout Europe. It was created to put forward the views of its members at European level and to give full access to ATCO's expertise with regards to technical and social issues.
ATCEUC participates in every working group where its expertise might be called for: EAG ACG, SRC, SESAR and other workshops from the PRC. ATCEUC has always relied on cooperation with other European bodies and works closely with IFATCA.
ATCEUC will use all the means at its disposal to express its concerns and to voice its opinions wherever, and whenever, the interests of its members will require. ATCEUC aim to put forward the views of European Air Traffic Controllers in an honest and non political manner. It is a great honour to take the presidency of ATCEUC during extreme challenging times for the ATM system in Europe.
The TUEM Board would like to express its recognition for the trust given by all the members of ATCEUC and will devote all its dedication to represent the ATCEUC objectives in the best interests of its members. The TUEM Board would also like to thank its members for their hard work and their excellent reputation. We can be proud to represent the largest group of Air Traffic Controllers in Europe.
